Initial Meeting and Nurse's Assessment

• GoodWill Helpers begins considering the specific needs of you or your loved one from the moment you call.

• On the initial call, we ask questions to form a basic needs assessment.

​

• GoodWill Helpers customer care representative then sets up an in-home visit with the client and family, including a Registered Nurse for an assessment. This visit allows us to gather even more information, answer questions and lets our client get a feel for how GoodWill Helpers could be of maximum help.

Creation of a Custom Care Plan

• With GoodWill Helpers, Client and family will have a great understanding of the services that will be provided.

​

• After our initial meeting, we develop a Custom Care Plan. This plan is tailored by a licensed Registered Nurse to meet the specific needs of you or your loved one.

​

• Detailed recommendations are made by the Registered Nurse on exactly what services would be most beneficial.

​

• We then arrange a follow-up meeting with Client and family  to go over the Custom Care Plan in detail and modify it as you or your loved one sees fit.

Caregiver Matching

Once you or your loved one have approved the Custom Care Plan,

• We begin our search for the best caregiver to implement that care.

​

• We take numerous factors into consideration when matching caregiver with our Clients. Including care services needed, client's interest and both client and caregiver personalities.

Care Supervision

• Our caregivers are required to keep extensive notes about the care they provide to every GoodWill Helpers Clients

​

• These notes are kept at you or your loved one’s home and should be available at any time.

​

• Unannounced visits to the Client's home will be conducted, to be sure Client and Caregiver are both comfortable and satisfied with the partnership and the Custom care Plan
